Michael Jeong

Structural Staff Engineer

 

Michael was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the States when he was 18 years old to attend CSU Long Beach.

Michael’s passion for structural engineering began in 2014 while working as a general laborer on a high-rise residential project. During his college career he enjoyed the team work involved during his senior design project and knew he wanted to be involved in the planning and design side of the Engineering field.

Out of school, Michael first worked at a municipal engineering consulting firm as a building inspector and plans examiner. When he came across the complex projects on the C. W. Howe website he realized CWH would be the perfect environment for him to grow professionally.

When Michael isn’t crunching numbers, he enjoys running along the beach, playing sports, taking long road trips and traveling overseas. His favorite team is the San Diego Padres and his most memorable trip thus far has been to El Salvador.
